1. Purpose of this notice
GlobalTaxAI processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 and other applicable law. This notice describes the processing connected with the website, orders, payments, invoicing, customer support and use of the applications.
2. Orders and contract performance
Data: name/company name, email, billing address, tax number where applicable, order ID, selected product, payment/order status and technical log data.
Purpose: conclusion and performance of the contract, access management and communication.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where applicable.
Retention: for the period necessary for contractual claims and for mandatory accounting/tax retention periods.
Company orders – NAV taxpayer lookup
For company orders, the Hungarian tax number entered at checkout may be checked through the NAV Online Invoice queryTaxpayer service. The lookup can confirm taxpayer validity and return the official company name and registered-office address for billing-field completion. The tax number is transmitted to NAV for this query. The purposes are accurate billing data and reduction of erroneous or misleading order data; the legal bases are steps necessary for contract conclusion and performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the Service Provider’s legitimate interest in data quality and abuse prevention (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Statutory retention rules apply to billing records.
3. Card payments and Barion Pixel
Card payments are processed by Barion Payment Zrt. GlobalTaxAI does not receive or store the full card number or CVC. Transaction data required for payment are transmitted to Barion, which acts under its own privacy terms.
The Barion Smart Gateway requires at least the basic Barion Pixel functionality, primarily supporting payment security and fraud prevention. Marketing-related pixel functions will not be activated without the required prior consent.
4. Invoicing
Data required for electronic invoicing are transmitted to the provider of Számlázz.hu, KBOSS.hu Kft., for the purpose of fulfilling accounting and tax obligations.
5. Annual reports and financial data
The current GlobalTaxAI analysis engine processes annual-report PDFs primarily in the user’s browser. The design objective is to avoid unnecessary persistent server-side storage of source financial documents. Financial data required for report generation may be processed temporarily within the user’s browser session.
If a future function requires temporary server-side storage, the purpose, duration and relevant recipients will be disclosed before that functionality is introduced.
6. Contact and complaints
We may process name, email, phone number, message content, order ID and information required to investigate a request or complaint. Processing is based on contract performance, legal obligation or legitimate interest as applicable.
7. Technical logs and security
For operation and security, the server may record IP address, timestamps, requested resources, error codes, browser/technical identifiers and security events. The purpose is service security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and evidentiary protection. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
8. Hosting and technical processor

9. Automated processing
